belt slipped off

on the way home from school today i was driving and all of a sudden my powersteering went out, so when i looked the whole belt was off, is there any intructions or anything on how to put it back on?

right next to the waterpump. ull c a cude with a screw. this screw losens and tightens ur belt. losen the screw till u can slide the belt back over.

Maybe try replaceing the adjuster pully. Mine kept slipping and eating belts so I ordered a new one from mitsu and fixed the problem. Was a bit of a bitch getting her on though. Best of luck.

Not sure if your car is turbo'd or not.

If it's not, you can bypass the tensioner pulley and just use the power steering pump for the tensioner. Doing this usually solves the problem of the belt coming off.

This is actually a common problem this and them shredding.

my belt slipped and I wasn't aware of it and i kept driving now im not sure if its the whole engine that's gone or the cylinder heads

any ideas where i could get either one? in NYC by the way
