guys my car is totalled!!!!

I was comin home from autozone and i was turning left in an intersection. and the light was green but there was no arrow so i yeilded before i turned and this lady in a ford edge comes out of no where and slams into the side of me. the cops said it was my fault because i failed to yield, even tho i yielded, but yea i only had liability on my car so i didnt get anything for it. but all the witnesses i talked to said she was speeding and i saw her hit the brakes way before she entered the intersection and she still hit me. anyways so now im car shopping again.. ill post some pics when i get a chance

Corados are pretty troublesome.. Especially the G60 ones, def. go with the VR if its clean. Fear the electrical gremlins. A Vr6 into one of them is an Engine swap right?>

DO you have a detailed accident report?? Based on the length of her skidmark AND the estimated speed she hit you at impact, they should be able to calculate her speed and determine if she was speeding.

If so - you have grounds for a lawsuit and placing her at fault.

Yea, I wasn't sure if it was the 1.8 T or the Vr that was not offered. Guess it was the 1.8T.

A GSX would be a nice choice!

Sorry to hear about the accident, Dave. Definitely take Steve's advice and have the investigators look into the other driver's skid marks. You will always get slammed with failure to yield if you were the one turning. Good luck to you.

Even if she was speeding, he'll still be at fault for not yielding. My mom got into a similar accident not too long ago. They calculated the speed and found that the other car was going 15 over the speed limit. But the cop said that in the state of MD, my mom is still at fault since the other car had right of way, even if she did yield and didnt see them coming. Im not exactly sure whose insurance companies paid for what, but I know my moms insurance company didn't have to pay for everything since the other car was speeding.

That's why I said what I did. This will assist with the vehicle loss AND any medical bills.

Those guys usually have cars that look good on-line but, are shitty in person. My buddy too looked at a GSX at Stafford auto, almost every car in the place has shotty body work that looked good from about 50 ft but was a MESS in person. Go check it out!

You could prob. get 1thou for the engine and trans if it runs good. You had Thermal exhaust right? Thats another 400 or so if it's turbo back.

well its the strength of the impact that just gave you a slap on the back and that's what you were feeling...

Dude, check with your insurance coverage... More then likley you have PIP (personal injury protection) Even if it's your fault...You can collect, as long as you didn't wave the coverage.
