Internal Server Error

I've noticed that over the past week or so, I receive Internal Server Errors during the morning hours (e.g., 10:00 a.m.). Sometimes, the website will not even load whereas other times, I will browse briefly before getting the error.

Has anyone else experienced this?

The site has been loading a bit slow, but I haven't noticed any errors.

It must be an issue at work, then. If that is the case, my guess would be our Barricuda web filter.

I got it again this morning as well. Although, I refreshed the webpage afterward, and everything loaded perfectly fine. In fact, the website seemed to get faster.

I experienced the same thing this morning. However my processor/memory usage is well within acceptable limits. This is kind of frustrating.

I still think it's a Dreamhost thing...

Russ, how would you feel if we moved this over to my host with MediaTemple? Again, a lot of MAJOR corporations use MediaTemple, so it's not some fly by night subleasing host.

It just seems to be crazy that the amount of traffic this site sees, we shouldn't be having any speed-problems.

I only experience these issues in the morning hours between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. I have yet to have a problem in the evenings.

He does - he has all of the websites on Dreamhost. So, it's obviously a hosting issue.

Not to mention, I think this site is probably most active early morning/afternoon!

Did you even go to their main page and look? It's all listed right there and if you click on them, testimonials:
(mt) Media Temple - Company - Our Clients

Even your company AAA used them for something:

DreamHost Issues

I have canceled my service and switched to media temple\’s dedicated virtual. While what I have signed up for is a little much, I\’ve heard great things about their grid service and would highly recommend their amazing service and support. They also don\’t have a system that talks like an 8 year old.
A long list of poor reviews are here:
DreamHost Review, User Reviews of DreamHost

I really don't know why you're so overly dedicated to Dreamhost. You aren't stuck in a contract and moving everything from home host to another isn't all that bad.

Yuck, you're on a contract??

Sidenote - Mediatemple is month to month, no contract. Another position reason.
