lol because when the first big 3G site was launched back in 2000, it was called "neweclipse.org", which over the years has changed and all that. Long story. Had some great, huge local MD/VA/DC/NJ meets from 2000-2003 then it fizzled out. Most of the members back then have sold their 3Gs or moved or whatever. Thats basically why I say "old skool", there arent that many from back in 2000 who still are around or still have their 3G. I have alot of pics from meets back then too. A few meets we had 25-30 3Gs show up!

Must have been nice to see such a turnout. I was a member of eclipseforums.org and club3g.com since 2003... 4 years is pretty good, too bad I've upgraded from the 3g to the 4g, but I still have the Club3G shirts and hoodies

yea, I think the original 3G site was neweclipse.org, then there was a fallout with the mods and shit, so then thats when club3g.com was formed and everyone followed to that site. I was a member since July 2000 which is actually almost a year AFTER I bought my 3G new back in Aug. 99. I think the first 3G meet I went to was at Dave & Busters and we had like 5 show up, then thats when it started to explode..got members from NY, PA, NJ to show up too. Good times! Now the only annual 3G meet that kicks ass is the Long Island, NY BBQ meet which is held every Memorial Day weekend. Ive been to about 4 of those and its the best!

With the amount of 3G's I see on the road nowadays, it's a wonder that Club3G hasn't been recognized by most of them. In Allentown, there are AT LEAST 10 or 15 3G's I see on a regular basis.. With about half of them showing mods of some type.

I think most of the 3Gs I seen on the road, whether stock or modded, dont have Club3G decals, but that doesnt mean they're not members. I think most are just owners and dont know anything about the site, or dont care about the site either. Hard to tell though. Shit, I even had a 3G ride my ass the other day on the road.
